The Chicago Tribune confirmed what I had been hearing for the last month or so. They are going to WiMax Chicago! Now I'm not trying to get too excited, because I don't know the range of the service. WiMax can supposedly have quite a large range. But if I can't use it at home too then its probably not going to be worth it for me. I don't know what kind of hardware they are going to provide either. For instance, will I get a WiMax enabled phone with bluetooth to connect, or will it be just a usb device or Express card (I don't have PCMCIA anymore)? If its a phone and it can also include the existing Sprint Power Network then I'm in!
